Year Head: Ms Mannion

“The future belongs to those who prepare for it today”
As Sixth Year Year Head, I am looking forward to walking alongside our students as they embark on their final chapter in school. This will be a pivotal and rewarding year, filled with both challenges and opportunities, and my hope is that each student not only strives for academic success but also finds balance, discovers determination, builds resilience, and makes memories that will stay with them long after they leave school. Sixth Year is about preparation and achievement, but it is also about community, kindness, and personal growth.
Sixth Year is about more than exams – it is about leadership, maturity, and leaving a legacy for the younger years to follow. I will be encouraging students to look after themselves and one another, to maintain balance between study and wellbeing, and to make the most of the many opportunities that this year offers.
Together with staff, parents and guardians, I am committed to making this a positive, memorable, and successful final year for all our Sixth Years.
Parents and guardians can contact me at aoife.mannion@ballinteercs.ie, if I can be of any assistance.
