BCS Employees:
The Employee Assistance Service (EAS) is arranged and managed by the Department of Education & Skills and provides teachers and immediate family members, i.e. partner, spouse or adult child (aged 18 and over) residing at the same address as the employee, with access to confidential counselling and assists in coping with the effect of personal and work-related issues. Counselling is provided on issues such as health, relationships, addictions, bereavement, stress, conflict, critical incident and trauma.
The service is free and confidential and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to teachers in schools. The service is provided by Spectrum.Life.
Employee Assistance Service (EAS) provider Spectrum.Life is launching a Digital Wellbeing Series and Digital Gymfor all school staff.
This service is coming online from February 1st, and will be streamed through the Wellbeing Together Online Portal (Desktop version). Please see below, reminder details on how to sign up or log in to the Wellbeing Together Online Portal.
Digital Wellbeing Series: The school community will have access to a monthly, theme based, 4-part series focused on a seasonal and relevant issue, delivered by a health and wellbeing presenter, and joined by a relevant expert.
The Digital Gym: provides up to 4 gym classes per day, be it HIIT training, yoga, mindfulness, Pilates and more. Access recordings or join the live class.
