Last Thursday, the sun was shining and the energy was high for our annual Teachers vs Students soccer match.
Both teams gave it their all, but for the second year running, the teachers proved too much for the students, winning 2-1!
In the second half, Mr Flannery made his much-anticipated entrance, and within minutes, he found the back of the net… twice!
Meanwhile, the students didn’t go down without a fight—Adriana scored a fantastic goal, making the final scoreline a little more respectable.
The students played hard until the very end, showing great determination—even if they couldn’t quite outplay the impressive, talented, skillful teachers!
The students didn’t leave it with just a football match & surprised the teachers with an impromptu water fight at the end!
Of course, it’s all about participation, so well done to everyone involved (whether it was with the water balloons or the football match!)
A huge shoutout to our two incredible referees who not only made tough calls but also made history as the first female refs ever in this match!
