Our Annual Sports Day took place last week as part of Wellbeing Week, and what a fantastic day it was! The sun was shining, spirits were high, and students enthusiastically participated in a wide variety of activities spread out across different zones.
In the Athletics Area, students showcased their skills and competitive spirit in classic events such as races, relays, javelin, discus, and shot put.
The Inflatables Area brought a lot of laughter and excitement with games like inflatable football, basketball, and the ever-popular sumo suits.
We also kept the tradition alive with a series of novelty races that added plenty of fun and nostalgia to the day.
In our Team Challenges Area, students collaborated and competed in games such as Puc Fada, Hang Tough, the Welly Throw, and Frisbee Golf, encouraging teamwork and friendly competition.
The excitement didn’t stop with student events—teachers also got in on the action with their own teacher relay races, much to the delight of the crowd. One of the highlights of the day was the fiercely contested Tug of War between the teachers and 6th year students—a showdown that brought lots of laughs!
After much competition and competitiveness, the Yellow Team were our winners!
It was a memorable day that celebrated physical activity, school spirit, and most importantly, student wellbeing. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success!
