Last week, three of our Transition Year students—Ava Whelan, Lucia Paraja Fernandez, and Mia Keegan—proudly represented our school at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition in the RDS.
Their project, titled "Paid to Persuade?", explored whether teachers or students are more likely to be influenced by online personalities. Submitted back in September, their project was among the 26% of entries successfully accepted into the competition—a fantastic achievement in itself!
Over the course of the week, the girls showcased their project and shared their findings with Exhibition visitors, including local TDs, our Taoiseach Simon Harris, and even some online influencers. They were also delighted to welcome some students from 3rd Year and Transition Year, who visited the Exhibition to support their project and learn from the incredible work on display.
The students were outstanding ambassadors for our school, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts.
Well done, girls!
