In advance of the Leaving Certificate Candidate Self Service Portal opening tomorrow, 10th March at 12noon, please see the attached information. Key points are as follows:
- Students will confirm the subjects and levels that they intend to study;
- Students can make changes to levels;
- Students can add subjects that are not listed, and can withdraw from listed subjects;
- Those taking Higher Level Music must also choose the elective that they are studying for their Leaving Certificate;
- Students will be able to opt to receive an Accredited Grade, sit the written examination, or both for each of their subjects;
- Students who do not opt to sit the written examination at this stage, but opt in to sit the written examination in late April/early May will forfeit the marks allocated to the oral/practical component of the subject;
- Where a student completes a related assessment component (i.e. oral or practical exam), but does not sit the written examination, the marks for the related assessment component will not be counted, and the student will receive an Accredited Grade.
