Fourth Year Programme It is school policy that all students, on completion of the Junior Cycle, progress to the Fourth Year Programme before enrolling in the Leaving Certificate Course. The year's course consists of a modular programme of studies combined with Work Placement and a Social Awareness Programme. The Fourth Year provides students with opportunities for personal and social development. Students are encouraged to display commitment and initiative through task performance and project work. Projects in the past school years have included: Residential Adventure Self Defence Course Driving Instruction Musical French Trip Poetry Ireland Work Experience Social Placement Road Safety Awareness Module Skirmish - Paint ball Shooting Fundraising Music Workshop Theatre Visits GAISCE Entrepreneur Course Model United Nations
