Attendance and Registration According to the education (welfare) Act (2000), school attendance is a legal obligation. Any absence should be notified to the school secretary as soon as possible and tutors should be provided with written explanations for student's absence on return. Each student must accept responsibility for one's registration each period and, in particular, during official morning registration. The school has a legal obligation to notify the Education Welfare Officer of student absenteeism of 15 days or more.
